I began my personal research journey back in 1998. I started as many do, with a few simple data points on my husband’s family in an Ancestry.com tree. I was hooked. I’ve had a grand time since then traveling to repositories and building the history of our families. Once we moved to South Carolina, I finally had the ability to delve more deeply into the full genealogical and historical context of the Cathcart lines at my leisure. My professional work sees me at the Archives a couple of times a month. I always try to slip in a little personal research on each visit.
Thanks for being here and checking out my work.
